Robert Nelson, Chief Financial Officer

Robert has more than 20 years experience managing the corporate and investment banking needs of US and global clients. His experience includes merger and acquisition finance, private equity and cross-border transactions.

Previously, he spent seven years with a major Japanese bank, where he specialized in media and telecommunications finance, focusing on leveraged merger and acquisition transactions. His clients included such companies as Prime Cable, TCA Cable, Excel Communications, Gemini Submarine Cable, Charter Communications and Clear Channel Communications. Among his other accomplishments while there, Robert served as coordinator for the Southwest Region for the Venture Capital Project with the Japan Center for International Finance and Chairman of the Overseas Officers Conference in Tokyo.

Robert is a CFA charterholder and is active in the Dallas Society of Financial Analysts, the local chapter of the Association for Investment Management and Research. In 1989, he received his MBA from the University of North Texas.
